Sunday, February 17th, 2008The view from part of the way up the Petřínská rozhledna looking out across Prague.
First real test of the new 10-22mm wide angle. Will need to go back later in the year to get those trees in the foreground full of leaves.
Petřín Lookout Tower
Sunday, February 17th, 2008The Petřínská rozhledna tower from it’s base.
A very cute mini Eiffel tower in the park in Prague. Although the structure is smaller, it’s on a big hill so the top is almost the same height above sea level.
Next visit to Paris I’ll need to compare it to the Eiffel tower. Hopefully the stairs aren’t so scary and shaky!

Thursday, July 28th, 2005The beautiful buildings of Balboa park in San Diego.
Was lucky enough to be sent there (to San Diego, not specifically the park) for a conference and spent the week before it walking around the parks and zoo taking I-can’t-remember-how-many photos.
Perhaps I might be lucky enough to be sent again (there is a huge conference center on the shore) and maybe will see a bit more than the wildlife.
Conic Hill
