Mush

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

Is it edible, is it poisonous? Definitely one, could be, looks good, possibly, maybe yes, looks similar, maybe, certainly, perhaps not, somewhat likely, why not, maybe … not, should be, fairly sure, no chance

What to do with wild mushrooms …. photograph them of course.

Purplely purp

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

A chaotic bundle of purple purps magically suspended over a bed of green greebs.

Snapped in the midst of Thetford Forrest … need to stop stopping to photograph weeds during walks, it breaks the marching flow too much!

Got Bored.

Had a basket and a smoke machine – what’s a guy to do!

More from this series to come, maybe.
I always really liked the images of light passing through a scattering volume; the light through the trees on a misty morning, the light streaming through the keyhole of a steamy bathroom….
But I now realise it takes quite a bit of settled smoke to actually work! 8(

Hot Smokey Balls Batman

Sunday, October 16th, 2005

Welcome to my PhotoBlog. I thought I’d kick off with some weird and wonderful images before getting stuck into what will hopefully become a photo of the day type affair!

Incase you haven’t guessed, it’s a hamster ball and some smoke – luckily I had the loan of a smoke machine recently and tried to think up some smokey photos. Colour was modified in PhotoShop – the ball was originally green I think.
Come back soon to find more of my smoke photos, and a quick how-to guide if anyone’s interested!

Colurful slinky

Tuesday, February 8th, 2005

Time for overkill with colours!

A normal slinky trapped inside a rainbow slinky! If you look closely (not that closely really) you can see the join where I stuck the two end of the slinky together to make a torus. I guess a slinky which came pre-joined, wouldn’t be that much fun!
